Cinnamon’s story is a sad one. When her owners died, she lost everything. She was left under the care of relatives who would chase her around with sticks and abuse her. At 17 years old, she had nowhere else to go but foster care. So, they took her in.
They thought they had given her a “home” to spend her final days, and for months they believed that this was all they could do. But, against all odds, this old and fragile lady managed to thrive. It took her six months to surrender.
