The big kitty was not ready for this, was he?
Expanding a family is one of the most exciting things in life. Whether it’s a human or feline baby, an old doggie or a parrot, there is so much joy and and tons of good vibes around the idea that someone will live with you under the same roof.
Of course, there are some exceptions… Older siblings, for example, are not always too keen on the concept of bringing a new addition to the family. But, let’s be honest, the newcomers don’t have it easy as well.
This sweet kitty in the video, a British Shorthair silver tabby, is about to welcome a Bengal kitten into his home. At first, each of them keeps their distance, but as the time goes by, they grow closer to each other.

I just love how the kitten responds to his new surroundings. He’s leery when taking his first steps outside of the crate, and meows for support and a warm welcome. Then, the exploretion begins and pretty soon, the little one runs into the big one and the rest is history. 🙂
