Losing someone you love is the toughest thing we humans have to endure, but frankly, the loss of a furriend or family is something that animals also have to cope with. The grief, the sadness, the sorrow, the loneliness – they can feel all those emotions as well.
This kitty’s friends passed away to cancer, and he didn’t take it very well. He was always looking for him, pacing down the hallways, meowing for his freind, hoping to see him again.
His human thought that getting a new kitten would make everyone feel better, and this video captures their introduction.
Meet Sonic the kitten and his big brother Mithril.
Okay, now I feel a little better, because Mithi’s sadness had really got me. I have two kitties as well (sister and brother), and I can’t even imagine what they would do without each other.
This was a really mervelous encounter, and I hope that Sonic will live up to his role of a little brother.
