This is a story about adopted cat Tommy and his human sibling who loves him so.
This little boy has a daily routine of showing how much he loves the kitty. “It’s been almost a year since we took in the neighborhood stray and my son still insists on tucking him in when he naps “so he knows that he lives at our house and will come back.” explained their mom on reddit.
“It’s more like he adopted us, to be honest. He started hanging around our deck/yard this past Summer, and eventually we started feeding him.”
One day, Tommy needed to go to the hospital.
“Our 4 year old wanted to make sure our cat was comfortable after going to the animal hospital,” he wrote.
“I have taught my son what a veterinarian does and went so far as to bring him to the animal hospital with me so he could see everything they did and explain to him why we couldn’t bring him to our regular vet’s office.”
The little boy was so inspired that he started practicing to be a veterinarian someday.
He is also teaching his little sister how to care for Tommy.
But, she thinks her crib is the purrfect spot for Tommy to rest.
His human, in response to comments about the sweetness of her pictures, responded, “I am so glad (Tommy) could bring some joy to the Internet. This past year has been so wonderful having him in our lives. He is the sweetest, funniest, most patient cat I have ever met. We are sold on adopting stray cats from now on!”
