This footage was taken in San Diego Humane Society’s Kitten Nursery. Their goal is to save the life of every healthy or treatable animal.
Taking good care of newborn kittens is not an easy job. During kitten season there can be hundreds of abandoned kittens who require 24 hour care. Before this kitten nursery program was established in 2008, kittens this young would be euthanized because of a lack of resources required to care for them.
The easiest way to help reduce the overwhelming numbers of unwanted cats is to spay and neuter your own cat and encourage others to do the same 🙂
