They gave cat-fishing a whole new meaning!
When Jason Frost and Brandon Key went fishing on the Black Warrior river in Alabama a year ago, they were probably hoping to catch a bass, perhaps a trout. But they never imagined what their trip would turn into. Instead of going home with fish, they ended up rescuing two kittens.
The little one swam out from shore to seek safety on their boat.
“Y’all are not gonna believe what is swimming towards our boat. A kitten,” Frost says in his now-viral video of the kittens’ ordeal. He also made an estimate that the kittens were abandoned there by their previous owners.
The kittens were scared and very wet, but they seemed to be pretty good swimmers. Though very wet and quite terrified, the kittens are good swimmers and they seemed grateful for the rescue.
The babies found their new forever home on the spot, and were named River and Warrior. Here is a recent picture.
